Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 202.3 points or 0.25 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 80,523.67 signifying a loss of 192.88 points or 0.24 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals soared by 0.27 per cent, power jumped 0.19 and auto rose by 0.05 per cent.
Meanwhile, Just Dial Ltd, Kec International Ltd and Kaveri Seed Company Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Just Dial Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.25 per cent to trade at Rs 1,100.00 apiece. The company declared its Q1FY25 quarterly result on July 16, 2024. The company’s revenue stood at Rs 280.6 crores, up 13.6 per cent YoY. EBITDA stood at Rs 80.6 crores, up 119.8 per cent YoY; Net Profit at Rs 141.2 Crores, up 69.3 per cent YoY
Kec International Ltd rallied 4.54 per cent to trade at Rs 927.65 apiece. KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders of Rs. 1,100 crores for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects in India, Middle East, Australia and Americas.
Kaveri Seed Company Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.09 per cent to trade at Rs 998.20 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
