Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 195.89 points or 0.25 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 80,051.66 signifying a gain of 154.32 points or 0.19 per cent over its previous closing. 

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals soared by 0.44 per cent, power jumped 0.39 and auto rose by 0.06 per cent.

Meanwhile, Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd, TVS Holdings Ltd and LT Foods Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.36 per cent to trade at Rs 348.00 apiece. The company has given clarification on the following news yesterday “India plans ship building JV between state-run refiners and Shipping Corporation of India”.

(Government of India with its plan to strengthen the Country’s shipping and shipbuilding industry, had conducted various seminars and workshops with all possible stakeholders in last few months. As far as SCI is concerned, so far there is no firm development or negotiations.)

TVS Holdings Ltd rallied 4.78 per cent to trade at Rs 14539.95 apiece. The company updated on the ratings release issued by Moody’s Investors Service, affirming the ratings assigned to the Bank’s instruments and changing outlook to Positive (from stable).

LT Foods Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.55 per cent to trade at Rs 634.50 apiece. The company expands its footprints to the United Kingdom to tap the EUR 1 billion rice and rice-based food market. The company inaugurates cutting-edge facilities in Harlow and Eyes revenue in tuner of EUR 100 million in the next 5 years.
