Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 245.27 points or 0.31 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 80,114.61 signifying a gain of 189.84 points or 0.24 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals soared by 0.70 per cent, power jumped 0.52 and auto rose by 0.32 per cent.
Meanwhile, PCBL Ltd, Yes Bank Ltd and Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
PCBL Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.24 per cent to trade at Rs 274.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Yes Bank Ltd rallied 4.6 per cent to trade at Rs 26.01 apiece. The company updated on the ratings release issued by Moody’s Investors Service, affirming the ratings assigned to the Bank’s instruments and changing outlook to Positive (from stable).
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.92 per cent to trade at Rs 634.50 apiece. The company has signed MoU with M/s IMS Consultancy Private Limited (IMS) for providing technical and advisory services to RVNL for projects in the field of Railways, MRTS, Tunnels, Roads (Highways & Expressways), Bridges, Building Works, Airports, Ports, Irrigation, Power Transmission and Distribution sector, Solar sector, Wind Sector, Hydro Power Sector etc. in Nepal.
