Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 84.47 points or 0.11 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 78,566.96 signifying a loss of 107.29 points or 0.14 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals soared by 0.35 per cent, power jumped 0.08 and auto rose by 0.28 per cent.
Meanwhile, Whirlpool Of India Ltd, Kec International Ltd and India Cements Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Whirlpool Of India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 14.33 per cent to trade at Rs 2100.15 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Kec International Ltd rallied 8.84 per cent to trade at Rs 939.25 apiece. The company wins New Orders of Rs 1,025 crores. The comapany has secured orders for T&D projects in India, Africa and America.
India Cements Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 6.64 per cent to trade at Rs 280.40 apiece. There is a talk of UltraTech Cement to Acquire 23% Stake in India Cements.
