Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 162.98 points or 0.22 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 73,913.67 signifying a loss of 92.27 points or 0.12 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.43 per cent, power gained 0.11 and auto soared by 0.15 per cent.
Meanwhile, Vesuvius India Ltd, Kalpataru Projects International Ltd and Patel Engineering Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Vesuvius India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 15.49 per cent to trade at Rs 6,000 apiece. The company has filed Minutes of the 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Company held on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Kalpataru Projects International Ltd rallied 14.56 per cent to trade at Rs 1369.95 apiece. The Company has successfully signed three contracts for the three packages of the third expansion phase of the Master Gas System Network (MGS‐3) in Saudi Arabia with ARAMCO for a contract value of ~ SAR 3.4 Billion (presently equivalent to ~ Rs 7,550 Crores).
Patel Engineering Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 12.14 per cent to trade at Rs 67.70 apiece. The company announced its financial results for the years ended March 31, 2024.
