Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 557.80 points or 0.76 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 73,671.32 signifying a gain of 582.99 points or 0.80 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 1.09 per cent, power gained 1.39 and auto rose by 0.83 per cent.
Meanwhile, Elecon Engineering Co.Ltd, Reliance Infrastructure Ltd and Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Elecon Engineering Co.Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.72 per cent to trade at Rs 1244.95 apiece.
Reliance Infrastructure Ltd rallied 5.38 per cent to trade at Rs 198.85 apiece.
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.33 per cent to trade at Rs 590.95 apiece.
