Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a loss of 152.08 points or 0.20 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 74,726.56 signifying a loss of 311.59 points or 0.42 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, consumer metals rose by 0.44 per cent, auto gained 0.18 and realty up by 0.16 per cent.
Meanwhile, Neuland Laboratories Ltd, Maharashtra Seamless Ltd and Metropolis Healthcare Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Neuland Laboratories Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.71 per cent to trade at Rs 6532.15 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Maharashtra Seamless Ltd rallied 5.23 per cent to trade at Rs 944.05 apiece. The Company has received an order with a basic value of Rs. 674 crores. from ONGC Ltd. for the supply of casing seamless pipes.
Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.59 per cent to trade at Rs 1864.00 apiece. The company has announced an unaudited financial results update for the quarter ended on 31st March, 2024.
