Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 207.99 points or 0.29 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 72,507.36 signifying a gain of 405.67 points or 0.56 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 1.32 per cent, power gained 1.22 and auto rose by 0.77 per cent.
Meanwhile, Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd, ISGEC Heavy Engineering and Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.27 per cent to trade at Rs 568.35 apiece. The company announced that it has entered into an asset purchase agreement with Klaus Waren Fixtures Pvt Ltd and NM Shah to purchase assets including the "Aquel" brand, along with all intellectual property, land, buildings, civil structures and other office equipment in two tranches.
ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd rallied 4.53 per cent to trade at Rs 871.45 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Neuland Laboratories Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.97 per cent to trade at Rs 6187.70 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
