Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 203.78 points or 0.28 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 73,904.76 signifying a gain of 98.61 points or 0.13 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.23 per cent, power gained 0.63 and auto rose by 0.24 per cent.
Meanwhile, Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd, Tega Industries Ltd and Patel Engineering Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.54 per cent to trade at Rs 4199.80 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Tega Industries Ltd rallied 4.04 per cent to trade at Rs 1197.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Patel Engineering Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.75 per cent to trade at Rs 70.63 apiece. The company, in collaboration with its joint venture partner, has been awarded the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) by the Irrigation & CAD Department, Government of Telangana for a contract valued at Rs 525.36 crore.
