Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 106.01 points or 0.15 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 72,892.17 signifying a gain of 391.87 points or 0.54 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, power rose by 1.26 per cent, metal gained 1.08 and utilities fell by 0.93 per cent.
Meanwhile, CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, Tube Investments of India Ltd and Welspun Enterprises Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 9.05 per cent to trade at Rs 484 apiece. CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, Renesas, and Stars Microelectronics, to Jointly Build Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test Facility in India.
Tube Investments of India Ltd rallied 7.52 per cent to trade at Rs 3744.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Welspun Enterprises Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 7.38 per cent to trade at Rs 337.60 apiece. The company received order for Design Build and Operate (“DBO”) Contract for Development of new 2,000 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Bhandup Complex including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (“Project”)
