Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 856.05 points or 1.20 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 71,824.83 signifying a gain of 637.97 points or 0.90 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.78 per cent, power gained 0.99 and auto rose by 0.75 per cent.
Meanwhile, Sanghvi Movers Ltd, Easy Trip Planners Ltd and Gillette India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Sanghvi Movers Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.80 per cent to trade at Rs 835.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Easy Trip Planners Ltd rallied 5.37 per cent to trade at Rs 47.89 apiece. The stock rallied as India's first-ever year-round sports tournament, Yuva Kabaddi Series partnered with EaseMyTrip as its title sponsor for the ongoing winter edition 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Pondicherry.
Gillette India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.83 per cent to trade at Rs 6873.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
