These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 415.69 points or 0.58 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 71,744.22 signifying a gain of 389 points or 0.55 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, auto rose by 1.24 per cent, IT gained 1.5 and oil & gas rose by 1.08 per cent.
Meanwhile, Bajaj auto Ltd, Trident Ltd and Rattan power Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Bajaj auto Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.22 per cent to trade at Rs 7,420.00 apiece. The Board of Directors has approved a buy-back proposal for up to 4 million equity shares, representing 1.41 per cent of the total shares, at Rs 10,000 per share, totaling Rs 4,000 crores, in accordance with SEBI regulations.
Trident Ltd, rallied 5.81 per cent to trade at Rs 51.18 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
RattanIndia Power Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.99 per cent to trade at Rs 11.58 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
