Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 76.42 points or 0.11 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 72,269.55 signifying a gain of 231.12 points or 0.32 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.71 per cent, power gained 0.75 and auto rose by 0.07 per cent.
Meanwhile, KPI Green Energy Ltd, Bengal & Assam Company Ltd and Jindal Poly Films Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
KPI Green Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 9.43 per cent to trade at Rs 1402.05 apiece. The company announced that it will hold a board meeting on December 30 to consider and approve the issue of bonus shares to the company's shareholders. Furthermore, the company also announced that it has successfully commissioned solar power projects totalling 17.35 MWp by KPI Green Energy Limited and its wholly-owned subsidiary, KPIG Energia Private Limited.
Bengal & Assam Company Ltd rallied 3.35 per cent to trade at Rs 7639.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Jindal Poly Films Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.67 per cent to trade at Rs 650.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
