These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 250.94 points or 0.35 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 71,479.67 signifying a gain of 142.87 points or 0.20 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.41 per cent, power gained 0.99 and auto rose by 0.50 per cent.
Meanwhile, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd and Epigral Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.80 per cent to trade at Rs 350.40 apiece. The company recently announced that it has signed an agreement with Aethon Developers Private Ltd, a subsidiary of Runwal Developers Private Ltd, for the sale of the company’s land parcel at Lower Parel for Rs 726 crore.
Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd rallied 6.85 per cent to trade at Rs 398.50 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Epigral Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.27 per cent to trade at Rs 978.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
