Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 604.49 points or 0.89 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index witnessed a strong rally as it stood at 68,435.34 signifying a gain of 954.15 points or 1.41 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 1.41 per cent, power rallied 4.25 per cent and auto rose by 1.49 per cent.
Meanwhile, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, Adani Power Ltd and Adani Green Energy Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 13.91 per cent to trade at Rs 975.05 apiece.
Adani Power Ltd rallied 12.45 per cent to trade at Rs 495.00 apiece.
Adani Green Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 12.12 per cent to trade at Rs 1151.00 apiece.
Adani group stocks rallied as the group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jugeshinder Singh said that the group plans to spend USD 84 billion (Rs 7 lakh crore) in capital expenditure over the next 10 years as it seeks to further consolidate its lead as a major infrastructure player in India.
