Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 102.04 points or 0.16 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 65,025.32 signifying a slight gain of 49.71 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.26 per cent, power gained 0.42 and auto rose by 0.38 per cent.
Meanwhile, Welspun Corp Ltd, Apcotex Industries Ltd and CARE Ratings Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Welspun Corp Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.07 per cent to trade at Rs 480.00 apiece. The company posted strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 with revenue rising 106.71 per cent YoY to Rs 4,059.45 crore. The board also approved investment in a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for supply of 42 MW Renewable Energy Round-The-Clock project to generate energy from wind and solar for the Company’s Anjar operations.
Apcotex Industries Ltd rallied 4.36 per cent to trade at Rs 513.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
CARE Ratings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.54 per cent to trade at Rs 883.40 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
