Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 408.05 points or 0.63 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened at 64,848.15 signifying a gain of 484.37 points or 0.75 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.72 per cent, power gained 0.36 and auto rose by 0.74 per cent.
Meanwhile, HBL Power Systems Ltd, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd and Dh Aarti Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
HBL Power Systems Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 11.40 per cent to trade at Rs 320.60 apiece. The stock rallied on the back of strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 with net profit rising 243.88 per cent YoY to Rs 67.16 crore.
Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd rallied 8.35 per cent to trade at Rs 54.00 apiece. The company announced that its brand Joy e-bike has successfully inaugurated 100+ exclusive distributor showrooms nationwide, in addition to 750+ touchpoints across India, within a timespan of six months.
Aarti Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.71 per cent to trade at Rs 482.05 apiece. The stock rallied despite reporting weak financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2023. Net profit declined 26.61 per cent YoY to Rs 91.00 crore while revenue fell by 13.71 per cent to Rs 1,454.00 crore.
