Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 586.77 points or 0.92 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 64,449.65 signifying a gain of 337.00 points or 0.53 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.69 per cent, power gained 0.52 and auto rose by 0.75 per cent.
Meanwhile, Shoppers Stop Ltd, CMS Info Systems Ltd and Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Shoppers Stop Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 10.72 per cent to trade at Rs 703.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

CMS Info Systems Ltd rallied 5.66 per cent to trade at Rs 390.00 apiece. The company recently announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 with 16.33 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 72.52 crore on YoY basis.
Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.50 per cent to trade at Rs 57.69 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
