At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 463.59 points or 0.71 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 65,597.62 signifying a gain of 371.58 points or 0.57 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.57 per cent, power gained 0.78 and auto rose by 0.66 per cent.
Meanwhile, Share India Securities Ltd, Craftsman Automation Ltd and L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
