These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 254.79 points or 0.39 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 66,074.04 signifying a gain of 50.35 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.45 per cent, power gained 0.11 and auto rose by 0.09 per cent.
Meanwhile, Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd, Transport Corporation Of India Ltd, Craftsman Automation Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rallied 4.51 per cent to trade at Rs 477.85 apiece. At the company's annual general meeting, shareholders approved the appointment of Sura Suprita Reddy, a part of the promoter & promoter group, as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of the company for five years beginning July 1, 2023.
