These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 92.47 points or 0.14 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened stood at 65,484.51 signifying a gain of 204.06 points or 0.31 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals fell by 0.02 per cent, power gained 0.07 and auto rose by 0.31 per cent.
Meanwhile, Birla Corporation Ltd, Aster DM Healthcare Ltd and Linde India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Birla Corporation Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.39 per cent to trade at Rs 1269.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Aster DM Healthcare Ltd rallied 4.70 per cent to trade at Rs 328.55 apiece. The company is attempting to sell a share of its India operations and has initiated negotiations for a sale with private equity firms including Blackstone and KKR.
Linde India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.33 per cent to trade at Rs 4489.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
