Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 525.08 points or 0.84 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened and stood at 62,742.63 signifying a gain of 120.39 points or 0.19 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals declined by 0.53 per cent, power gained 0.28 and auto fell by 0.24 per cent.
Meanwhile, Adani Transmission Ltd, Brightcom Group Ltd and G Jindal Worldwide Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Adani Transmission Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 816.40 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Brightcom Group Ltd rallied 4.97 per cent to trade at Rs 19.63 apiece. The company posted 10 per cent rise in its consolidated revenue to Rs 1,368 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023. The company has recovered from its 52 week low with over 100 per cent returns in just over a month.
Jindal Worldwide Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.23 per cent to trade at Rs 354.90 apiece. The company announced its Quarterly Results for Q4FY23 with 23 per cent decline in net profit.
