Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 85.25 points or 0.14 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 61,702.45 signifying a loss of 71.33 points or 0.21 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals fell by 0.05 per cent, power gained 0.12 and auto declined by 0.48 per cent.
Meanwhile, ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd, Timken India Ltd and Adani Transmission Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.92 per cent to trade at Rs 10939.95 apiece. The stock jumped as the company reported excellent financial performance with 79 per cent jump in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2023.

Timken India Ltd rallied 3.76 per cent to trade at Rs 3249.95 apiece. Timken also announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 with 20 per cent rise in revenue, however, net profit fell by 14 per cent on YoY basis.
Adani Transmission Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.31 per cent to trade at Rs 940.00apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
