Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 553.54 points or 0.90 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 61,256.99 signifying a loss of 169.21 points or 0.27 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals stood flat, power gained 0.66 and auto fell by 0.02 per cent.
Meanwhile, Fineotex Chemical Ltd, Swan Energy Ltd and Adani Transmission Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Fineotex Chemical Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.06 per cent to trade at Rs 275.00 apiece. The stock jumped as the company reported excellent financial performance with 52.97 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2023.

Swan Energy Ltd rallied 5.68 per cent to trade at Rs 242.85 apiece. The Board of Directors of Swan Energy in its meeting held on May 20, 2023, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, have recommended payment of dividend of 10 per cent on equity share of Rs 1 each, (Rs. 0.10 per share) for F.Y. 2022-23.
Adani Transmission Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.96 per cent to trade at Rs 825.00 apiece. The Adani Group stocks rallied after the Supreme Court appointed panel said it had not found 'regulatory failure' around allegations of price manipulation in the conglomerate's stocks and violation of minimum public shareholding rules.
