Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 134.29 points or 0.22 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 61,256.99 signifying a gain of 63.69 points or 0.10 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.20 per cent, power fell by 0.09 and auto declined 0.16 per cent.
Meanwhile, Brightcom Group Ltd, Vinati Organics Ltd and Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Brightcom Group Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 10.72 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Vinati Organics Ltd rallied 4.45 per cent to trade at Rs 2019.95 apiece. The company has subscribed to the additional 25,50,000 fully paid-up equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each at par, amounting to Rs 2,55,00,000 by way of subscription towards the rights issue of Veeral Organics Pvt Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary, the shares rank pari-passu to existing equity shares of the company.
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.19 per cent to trade at Rs 135.65 apiece. On Wednesday, this central PSU was granted Navratna status by the Department of Public Enterprises.
