These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 153.11 points or 0.25 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 60,722.39 signifying a gain of 73.01 points or 0.12 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals gained by 0.29 per cent, power increased by 0.22 and auto fell by 0.09 per cent.
Meanwhile, EKI Energy Services Ltd, Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd and PI Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
EKI Energy Services Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.83 per cent to trade at Rs 455.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd rallied 4.75 per cent to trade at Rs 502.00 apiece. The company has announced its financial results on April 27 for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2023.
PI Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.60 per cent to trade at Rs 3205.55 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
