Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 27 points. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 59,113.86 signifying gains of 122.34 points or 0.21 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 0.65 per cent, power weakened by 0.16 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.83 per cent.
Meanwhile, Brightcom Group Ltd, India Pesticides Ltd and Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Brightcom Group Ltd, a S&P BSE 500 company, surged 8.54 per cent to trade at Rs 15.89 apiece. This rally comes ahead of the company's board meeting, which is set to be held today.
India Pesticides Ltd, a S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 5.84 per cent to trade at Rs 219.45 apiece. Last week, the company received Technical Equivalence (TEQ) certification in the European Union (EU) for its newly commissioned herbicide technical product. This certification will bolster the company's export revenue and contribute to increased foreign exchange earnings for the country.
Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 4.08 per cent to trade at Rs 125 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
