Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 11.83 points. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 57,816.50 signifying gains of 162.64 points or 0.28 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 0.6 per cent, power weakened by 0.67 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.38 per cent.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd, Timken India Ltd and PTC Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd, a S&P BSE 500 company, surged 7.08 per cent to trade at Rs 247.90 apiece. Yesterday, the company reported that it has successfully commissioned production at the 1200TPD Maize Processing Greenfield Project at Malda, West Bengal. With this, the company has now total of 4000TPD Maize processing capacity.
Timken India Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 5.61 per cent to trade at Rs 2914.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.
PTC Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 5.19 per cent to trade at Rs 2450 apiece. Last week, the company reported that its subsidiary- Aerolloy Technologies, has signed an MoU with Dassault Aviation for prospective supply of titanium cast parts and material to Dassault.
