Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 83.34 points or 0.14 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further weakened to 57,978.43, signifying loss of 236.16 points or 0.41 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.32 per cent, power weakened by 0.09 per cent whereas auto slipped by 0.25 per cent.
Meanwhile, Adani Green Energy Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Ltd and Nazara Technologies Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Adani Green Energy Ltd, a S&P BSE 200 company, surged 4.73 per cent to trade at Rs 980 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.
Sindhu Trade Links Ltd, rallied 4.16 per cent to trade at Rs 19.80 apiece. This rally comes ahead of the company's independent directors' meeting, which shall be held tomorrow.
Nazara Technologies Ltd, a S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 2.93 per cent to trade at Rs 521.60 apiece. Yesterday, Sportskeeda, a Nazara subsidiary, announced the acquisition of Pro Football Network, the #3 NFL publisher in the US. This acquisition shall bolster the company's presence in the U.S region.
