Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 28.12 points or 0.04 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 60,072.35, signifying gains of 263.38 points or 0.44 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals were up by 0.07 per cent, power strengthened by 1.21 per cent whereas auto was trading flat.
Meanwhile, Kiri Industries Ltd, Adani Enterprises Ltd and Adani Green Energy Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Kiri Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 6.70 per cent to trade at Rs 358.40 apiece. On Friday, the company reported that Singapore International Commercial Court confirmed the final value of Company's 37.57 per cent stake in DyStar Global Holdings (Singapore) Pte Ltd as USD 603.80 million as against USD 481.60 million, a significant increase by USD 122.20 million.
Adani Enterprises Ltd, an S&P BSE 100 company, rallied 6.42 per cent to trade at Rs 2000 apiece. On Friday, the company announced that Mundra Aluminium Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary, has received a letter of intent in respect of ballada bauxite block in Odisha.
Adani Green Energy Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company, climbed 5 per cent to trade at Rs 590.10 apiece. Last week, the company announced that its operating renewable portfolio has reached 8,024 MW, which is the largest in India.
