Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 15.29 points or 0.025 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 60,784.83, signifying gains of 218.41 points or 0.36 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals and power strengthened over 1 by per cent whereas auto surged by 0.7 per cent.
Meanwhile, Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd, Time Technoplast Ltd and Venky's (India) Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Time Technoplast Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.
Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 11.76 per cent to trade at Rs 411 apiece.
Time Technoplast Ltd rallied 11.27 per cent to trade at Rs 93.30 apiece. Yesterday, the company reported that it has received a prestigious repeat order worth Rs 75 crore (approx) from Adani Total Gas Ltd for supply of CNG Cascades made from Type-IV Composite Cylinder. The delivery of these cascades will begin from January 2023.
Venky's Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 7.68 per cent to trade at Rs 1978.95 apiece.
