These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened flat at the level of 61,802. By 9.15 am, the index weakened to 61,530.56, signifying loss of 275.63 points or 0.45 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.50 per cent, power weakened by 0.30 per cent whereas auto slipped by 0.13 per cent.
Meanwhile, Anupam Rasayan India Ltd, Ajanta Pharma Ltd and Apar Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.
Anupam Rasayan India Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 4.14 per cent to trade at Rs 714.90 apiece.
Ajanta Pharma Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 3.19 per cent to trade at Rs 1,214.95 apiece.
Apar Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 3.12 per cent to trade at Rs 1,774.85 apiece.
