Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 16.01 points or 0.025 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading flat at the level of 62,437.65, signifying gains of 26.97 points or 0.04 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.24 per cent, power strengthened 0.32 by per cent whereas auto was trading flat.

Meanwhile, Venky's India Ltd, Kajaria Ceramics Ltd and Brightcom Group Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.

Venky's India Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 3.14 per cent to trade at Rs 1869.90 apiece.

Kajaria Ceramics Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 3.01 per cent to trade at Rs 1178.95 apiece.

Brightcom Group Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 2.81 per cent to trade at Rs 34.80 apiece.
