Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 394.31 points or 0.62 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 63,142.43, signifying a loss of 141.76 points or 0.22 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.17 per cent, power weakened by 0.12 per cent whereas auto slipped by the same quantum.
Meanwhile, Hindware Home Innovation Ltd, HLE Glascoat Ltd and PB Fintech Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies has made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by market forces.
Hindware Home Innovation Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 8.6 per cent to trade at Rs 375 apiece.
HLE Glascoat Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 7.61 per cent to trade at Rs 689 apiece. On Wednesday, the company informed that ICRA - the credit rating agency have reaffirmed/assigned their ratings for the company.
PB Fintech Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company, climbed 4.24 per cent to trade at Rs 481.10 apiece.
