Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 307.11 points or 0.5 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened to 61,416.28, signifying gains of 802.58 points or 1.32 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by 1 per cent, power strengthened by nearly 1 per cent whereas auto surged by 1.15 per cent.
Meanwhile, Cigniti Technologies, Fine Organic Industries and Neuland Laboratories emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Cigniti Technologies Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 11.06 per cent to trade at Rs 650 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the reason for the rally in the share price is unclear.
Fine Organic Industries Ltd, an S &P BSE 500 company, rallied 10.30 per cent to trade at Rs 6,552 apiece. Yesterday, the company announced its Q2FY23 results. As per the exchange filing, the consolidated topline of the company grew 111 per cent YoY to Rs 938.5 crore. The PAT grew 306 per cent YoY to Rs 202.62 crore.
Neuland Laboratories Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 8 per cent to trade at Rs 1,838 apiece. The company reported its September quarter results yesterday. During the quarter, the company's income came in at Rs 293.9 crore, up by 13.9 per cent YoY. The PAT grew 88.6 per cent YoY to Rs 38.3 crore.
