Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 230.28 points or 0.38 per cent. At 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 60,420.25 signifying gains of 460.4 points or 0.77 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.21 per cent, power weakened by 0.11 per cent whereas auto surged by 0.66 per cent.
Meanwhile, Apar Industries Ltd, Infibeam Avenues and Triveni Turbine emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Apar Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 6.12 per cent to trade at Rs 1,549.45 apiece. The rally comes ahead of the company's Q2FY23 results announcement, which is scheduled on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
Infibeam Avenues Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 3.97 per cent to trade at Rs 18.05 apiece. Last week, the company announced the grant of In-Principle Authorisation to operate as a Payment Aggregator by Reserve Bank of India ('RBI').
Triveni Turbine Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 3.28 per cent to trade at Rs 299.50 apiece. On November 2, 2022, a board meeting of the company shall be held to inter-alia consider and approve a proposal for buy back of equity shares of the company.
