Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 119.25 points or 0.20 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further weakened to 60,064.23, signifying a loss of 195.9 points or 0.33 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals were trading flat, power strengthened by 0.2 per cent whereas auto slipped by the same quantum.
Meanwhile, Aegis Logistics Ltd, Forbes & Company Ltd, and Dhani Services Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. These three companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.
Aegis Logistics Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 8.78 per cent to trade at Rs 282.50 apiece. The company announced its Q1FY23 results last week.
Forbes & Company Ltd, which operates in multiple domains, surged 7.32 per cent to trade at Rs 740 apiece. Last week, the company’s board approved a proposal to enter into a joint venture with Macsa ID for providing innovative laser marking and traceability solutions for the entire range of materials - metals as well as non-metals.
Dhani Services Ltd, a venture by Indiabulls Securities Limited, climbed 4.98 per cent to trade at Rs 51.60 apiece.
