Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 98.08 points or 0.18 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened by 316.4 points or 0.59 per cent to stand at the level of 53,732.55. 

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by over 0.2 per cent, power strengthened by nearly 1 per cent whereas auto climbed approximately 0.1 per cent.  

Meanwhile, Adani Transmission, Centrum Capital, and Chalet Hotels emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. None of these companies have made any major announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by the market forces.    

Adani Transmission Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company rallied 7.48 per cent to trade at Rs 3,100 apiece. 

Centrum Capital Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 7.31 per cent to trade at Rs 24.95 apiece. 

Chalet Hotels Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 7 per cent to trade at Rs 341.05 apiece.
