Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green at a gain of 418.12 points, standing at the level of 54,596.58. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened further to the level of 54,603.93, representing a gain of 425.47 points or 0.79 per cent over its previous close.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in green. In the pre-opening session, metals shined over a per cent, power strengthened over 0.5 per cent whereas auto rallied more than 1.3 per cent.
Meanwhile, Valiant Organics, Shriram City Union Finance, and Tanla Platforms emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Shriram City Union Finance, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by the market forces.
Valiant Organics Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 13.91 per cent to trade at Rs 604 apiece.
Shriram City Union Finance Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 6.79 per cent to trade at Rs 1,825.20 apiece. On July 6, 2022, the company, under the direction of NCLT, convened a meeting with its unsecured creditors. The meeting pertained was held on the matter of the composite scheme of arrangement & amalgamation between Shrilekha Business Consultancy Private Limited, Shriram Financial Ventures (Chennai) Private Limited, Shriram Capital Limited, Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited, Shriram City Union Finance Limited, Shriram LI Holdings Private Limited, Shriram GI Holdings Private Limited, Shriram Investment Holdings Limited and their respective shareholders. As per the company’s press release, the scheme passed with a majority of votes.
Tanla Platforms Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 5.82 per cent to trade at Rs 1,064.80 apiece.
