On a penultimate day, June derivatives series expiry was one of the eventful days of the trading for the index as Nifty moved in a range of almost 189 points, which was greater than the previous trading session.  

Furthermore, Nifty closed with a negative bias as it slipped more than half a per cent and closed near the day’s low.   

During such an eventful day, the final hour of the trading is crucial to traders as a lot of action takes place just before the closing. Hence, for a trader, it’s important to keep note of such stocks, which have seen significant volumes during the final hour of the session. If the stock has seen significant volume in the last one hour of the trading session with a surge in the price, it suggests that traders are expecting the stock to trade higher in the next trading session.
