Top performing penny stocks in September 2020
The year 2020 belonged to penny stocks with several stocks turning out to be multibaggers. The month of September also saw several penny stocks taking investors by surprise.
In the month of September, the equity markets remained volatile. Sensex fell by nearly 2.14 per cent since the beginning of the month of September 2020. During the last two weeks of the month, bears and bulls were seen clashing heads to maintain a dominating position.
When the markets witnessed a sharp fall in the second half of the month, investors became skeptical to invest in penny stocks believing that these will be risky investments and they are better off betting on high-value stocks. Despite what’s ongoing in the market, penny stocks performed remarkably well during the month.
