During the pre-opening session, while S&P BSE Sensex marginally gained 0.82 per cent, the stocks listed below showed an impressive surge.  

Relaxo Footwears Ltd, an S&P BSE 200 company, nearly hits its upper circuit of 20 per cent of the bourses. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,301, an increase of Rs 216.65 from the previous closing price of Rs 1,084.35 on BSE.    

Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, jumped 10.24 per cent during the same time. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,149, an increase of Rs 106.75 from the previous closing price of Rs 1,042.25 on BSE.    

Vesuvius India Ltd, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, rallied 7.92 per cent on the bourses. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,110, an increase of Rs 81.45 from the previous closing price of Rs 1,028.55 on BSE.    

Similarly, the shares of Home First Finance Company India Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 6.7 per cent in the pre-opening session. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 838.75, an increase of Rs 53.15 from the previous closing price of Rs 785.60 on BSE.
