In the month of July, the benchmark index BSE Sensex has surged 7.7 per cent by closing at 37,606.89 on the last trading day of the month i.e. on July 31, 2020.
On June 30, 2020, BSE Sensex had closed at 34,915.80.
Meanwhile, BSE 500 index too surged by 6.7 per cent from 13,438.14 as of June 30, 2020 to 14,346.18 as of July 31, 2020.
