On May 30, 2022, the Nifty soared for the third straight trading day, fuelled by positive global indications. This was due to China relaxing Covid restrictions and Wall Street's strong gains on Friday. Furthermore, domestic factors such as the early arrival of monsoon in Kerala contributed to the market's tone. Nifty 50 was up 1.9 per cent (309 points) at 16,661 at the close.

In the short-term, Nifty 50 levels of 16,650 to 16,900 might function as strong resistance. Furthermore, Nifty 50 futures 50-Day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of 16,700 and 200-Day EMA of 16,800 are anticipated to perform as excellent resistance in the immediate term. On the downside, a strong support zone would be 16,200 to 16,400.
