Top 5 mid cap winners and losers in April
The fiscal year 2019-20 began on a good note as BSE Sensex and Nifty were trading near their all-time high levels. BSE Sensex made its all-time high mark at 39,487.45 on April 18, 2019.
The BSE mid-cap index too soared high at 15,560.12 at the beginning of the month of April. However, during the second fortnight of April, the index started correcting and touched 14,889.42 level on April 30, 2019.
We have found some mid-cap stocks having market cap between Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000 crore that outperformed and underperformed in the month of April as compared to the mid-cap index.
