Thomas Cook launches ‘Live it up holidays

The sealed borders and travelling restrictions caused due to COVID-19 pandemic, has halted everyone’s travelling plans this summer. Taking this situation into consideration, Thomas Cook utilised it as an opportunity to launch ‘Live it up’ holiday package.

This newly-launched holiday plan starts at an affordable price of Rs 8,200, to a range of short distance international destinations from September 2020. It could help Indian travellers to plan their vacations accordingly. Few more advantages offered by this holiday packages include flexibility of date change, zero cancellation charges five days prior to departure, upgradation in hotels, complimentary stay for child and minimum booking charges.

According to a survey conducted by Thomas Cooks India regarding future travel post COVID-19, 36 per cent of the travellers preferred international destinations while, 41 per cent were keen on short haul destination. Further, around 41 per cent of the travellers, though unsure of their travel destination, have expressed their desire to go on a vacation.

The ‘Live it up’ holiday package along with the inclusion of ‘Thomas Cook assured programme’ collectively provides safe travel in COVID-19 period in partnership with Apollo Clinics, a member of Apollo Hospitals Group. It ensures health and safety protocols at all stages of the journey while, including travel insurance for COVID-19 related hospitalisation.
