Skipper Limited has secured orders from BSNL for the supply and erection of ground-based telecom towers, infrastructure as a service provider for supply, installation of infrastructure items and subsequent O&M for 5 years extendable to 5 more years, in the uncovered villages of India under 4G saturation projects.
The total contract value awarded to Skipper under these projects is approx. Rs 2,570 crore to be executed under capex and opex model over 5 years. The works are to be executed in the states of Rajasthan (1,350 crore) and Orissa (1,220 crore) and includes development of approx. 3,350 tower location sites.
Skipper Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing Transmission & Distribution Structures (Towers & Poles), plastic water pipes and are in EPC line construction.
Today, the stock opened at Rs 147.30, with a high and low of Rs 148.85 and Rs 139.10. The stock previously closed at Rs 139.95. Currently the stock is trading at Rs 141.40, up by 1.04 per cent.
In the last six months, the shares of the company have given more than 150 per cent returns and on YTD basis, the stock has given about 70 per cent returns.
The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 148.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 50.00. The company has a ROCE of 10.1 per cent and an ROE of 3.95 per cent with a market capitalisation of Rs 1,451.76 crore.
