This small-cap construction company bags a work order worth Rs 183.60 crore!

Shares of the company jumped more than 9 per cent in today’s trade.

On February 8, 2023, R.P.P Infra Projects Limited informed in the exchange filing that, the company has won an order for the construction of Integrated storm water Drainworks in M1 & M2 components in Kovalam basin in expanded areas in Greater Chennai Corporation and is expected to be completed within 24 Months from the appointed date. The new order is worth Rs 183.60 crore.

R.P.P.Infra Projects is a construction company primarily engaged in the business of infrastructure development such as Highways, Roads and Bridges. The company also has diversified its civil works expertise into SEZ development, water management projects, irrigation and power projects. The company does business in the South Indian region, covering the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Pondicherry, Andaman Nicobar Islands.

Today, the stock opened at Rs 41.40, with a high and low of Rs 46.30 and Rs 41.15. The stock closed trading at Rs 44.65, up by 9.04 per cent.  

In the last 6 months, the shares of the company have given more than 20 per cent returns and on a YTD basis, the stock has given about 7 per cent returns.

The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 64.40 and a 52-week low of Rs 29.60. The company has a ROCE of 7.66 per cent and an ROE of 1.72 per cent with a market capitalisation of Rs 165 crore.
