This Navratna enterprise received a work order worth Rs 350 crore!

Shares of the company are trading at a P/E of 16.5.

On February 24, 2023, NBCC (India) informed in the exchange filing that it has been awarded work of a project management consultant (PMC) for complete planning, Design, Execution/ construction of buildings and their services and other maintenance and upgradation works of existing Buildings and its services and other maintenance and upgradation works of existing buildings etc. under conventional/ EPC Contract Mode as per scope of work for various buildings at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad having value of Rs 350 crore.

Earlier, this month NBCC informed that it had secured total order of Rs 194.17 crore in January 2023.

NBCC is the Government of India Navratna enterprise, it is primarily engaged in the business of construction, engineering and procurement. It is a construction arm of the government of India.

On 24 February, the stock opened at Rs 33.35, with a high and low of Rs 33.80 and Rs 32.80. The stock previously closed at Rs 33.30. The stock closed trading at Rs 32.95, down by 1.05 per cent.

In the last six months, the shares of the company have given about -2 per cent returns and on a YTD basis, the stock has given about -15 per cent returns. 

The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 43.80 and a 52-week low of Rs 26.70. The company has a ROCE of 23.2 per cent and an ROE of 16.2 per cent with a market capitalisation of Rs 5,931 crore.
