The BSE Oil & Gas index was the top per forming sectoral index in the past one week. The gauge that tracks the performance of companies in the crude oil sector was seen up by more than 5 per cent in the past one week.
Oil India was the top sectoral gainer, up by more than 6 per cent in the past one week while heavyweight RIL was able to jump higher by 3.75 per cent in similar timeframe.
